Head Pro – Sammie Hortin-Giles

I am extremely excited to be a part of Porthpean Golf Club, after enjoying an accomplished amateur career where I was fortunate enough to represent my home county of Cornwall for 10 years and also to pull on an England shirt on multiple occasions and play for my Country. With highlights such as winning all three English National titles.

After these accomplishments, I decided the time was right to turn Professional and I embarked on 8 years on Tour, being able to travel the world doing something I loved was an incredible experience. Now, wanting to be a little closer to home I am a PGA Trainee offering golf lessons here at Porthpean Golf Club and I am equally as enthusiastic about helping you get the best out of your game. Please get in touch if you’d like to see your game taken to the next level
